Hey Mal,

I still don't get this secret ballot thingy. Do you want us to send you PMs about our choices, or do we wait until everybody has posted their piccies and then send in their votes in a PM to you?

Confused and waiting.....

Cheers,
BP.

:-) BP All will become clear. If I let on how the voting will work we will have people trying to vote before time and the person who is going to get the votes and count them will get confused.

Scott
Your name is on the enrolled list, so you are elligable to vote :-) Please wait until I post the details of how.

:-) Thought I had better let everyone know what is going on. I know we haven't got the ribbon yet, people are busy so please be patiant a little while longer. The voting is sorted and will be open to all (do we want categories or a vote for members favourite? Baring in mind that there was only one entry in the diorama category, so that would automatically win?) I am just waiting to see if TOMCAT14 is able to post his pics. He has PMed me to say he hs been unable to use his friends camera as yet and said to go ahead without him. It would be a shame not to include as many as possible, so I said I would give him more time. Does anyone have any objections? How long should we wait?

Hi Mal

Thanks for keeping us all up to date. :-)

Personally, I'd go for voting by categories... Novice, Intermediate and Experienced. That way we can give the maximum encouragement to everyone.

The Diorama category is different, because it encompasses all skill levels, but if only one person went to all the extra trouble of buiding a diorama, I think it would be unfair not to award them a medal!

As regards TOMCAT14's dilemma, do you know if he can get hold of a "normal" camera (or Polaroid)? Surely someone could scan a couple of prints and post them for him... (I'll do it, if he doesn't know anyone closer to home who can help... just give me the word.)

All the best

Mal - I think if everyone agrees - leave the month of September open for voting.
