Victory Models have sent us their latest superlative decal sheet. This time it is destined to the Messerschmitt 109 E-3 and G-6 of the Swiss Flugwaffe (Air Force). The sheet is 1:32 scale and covers no less than 16 aircraft... and more!

The Bf-109 is too ugly with the Swiss markings

It's like an ambulance

This certainly is a niche offering, but I'm glad to see it. The Trumpeter kit I reviewed includes Swiss markings.

Hi Jean-Luc

Do you know if there are plans to release this in 1:48? - I've always fancied converting an Emil to Swiss configuration.

All the best

Hi all
I say Bills review of Trumpeters 1/32 Bf-109E and noticed it had Swiss markings, which I have to admit I adore. Saw an example of the scheme while on holiday in Switzerland many moons ago. I bought the Trumpeter kit and intend to do J-371 in the Swiss scheme for Terri's 109 campaign.

I think it looks pretty cool although it will be a one of. I would not like a whole squadron of them. One big advantage of this product is the fact that the white crosses are separate allowing the modeller to paint the stripes. Were as Trumpeters decals the cross and stripes are one decal, which I imagine will make applying pretty difficult. Thanks for the review Jean-Luc.

Hi Tim

If you haven't already got it, I definitely recommend Squadron's Bf 109E Walkaround - it has a whole section devoted to Swiss Emils and shows the areas you'll need to modify.

All the best
