If you are any kind of fan of U.S. Armor, this is a must see!
On the History Channel now and again at 1:00 AM.

Among America's battle-scarred tank units, the 3rd Armored Division is remembered as first among equals. The 3rd earned its reputation as the "Spearhead Division" in WWII, when it led Allied Forces into the heart of Germany. During the tension-filled decades of the Cold War, the 3rd Armored stood eyeball to eyeball with the Soviet Union. In the Gulf War, this specialized tank unit overpowered Iraqi armor. From Elvis Presley to Colin Powell, the 3rd has always been on the front lines of history.

I watched the history of the 3rd Armored tonight. Guys on the job called me to make sure I had seen it listed. That's how much they know I am nuts about the armor. Unbelievable footage with that Panther being taken out by the M26 Pershing in Cologne. And the shot of the Sherman taking the three hits around the front of the tureet mantel area! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
