Wow thanks! Can you (or maybe I can do it myself, I don;t know if that is possible) downscale some to 1/72?

Thanks in advance!

Wonderful stuff Michael.

A great idea, brilliantly done.

Some Soviet slabs would be great, or maybe some WWII carrier decks

Sorry for my ignorance, but how do you reduce the size to 66% for 1/72?

Thanks again for making these available,

Mike.

Hi Rowan,

Can you send me some reference for the hexagonal Soviet slabs?
The only measurements I have are for rectangular shaped sections.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike

I'll scan a couple of things today.

Hi Rowan,

Got your email, thanks for sending it over. I'll start work on the Soviet (Hex and Rectangle) Slabs soon.

I had a chance to post some of the 1/32 Tarmacs: http://www.4shared.com/dir/15418174/344f4408/Tarmac_32.html
I'm doing work on a few "Navy Decks" as well (in 1/48 and also 1/32). I'll scale some down to 1/72 after I get a start on the Soviet ones.

Thanks again for the help.

As always, feedback is appreciated.

Thanks Rowan. I've just posted a few more 1/72 files. I did some Helicopter (Harrier and Osprey) Carrier Decks and also some US and a few Soviet Style Tarmacs. Glad you like 'em.

Hi Mike

We should wangle these 'round to a Feature soon! Have you got any shots of some bases printed out with a model stood on them? If not, I've got a magazine-build underway this summer that could show off the VVS hexagons, so I'll definetely give them an outing when they're ready.

All the best

Hi Rowan,

No, I don't have any photos yet. Please send me some pics of your planes (on the Hexagon tiles) when you have them.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike

I've just downloaded the new Soviet hexagons. They look superb! Here's a small section of the full image:

I'll print them and try them out as soon as I get a chance.

All the best

Hi Rowan,

I've been told that the previews are turning into Red X's on ARC as well.
Here is a link to the preview files on Photobucket: http://s375.photobucket.com/albums/oo194/mgrandison/?albumview=grid

I'm re-working some of the more popular downloads and I'm looking to have them printed (full-bleed) onto card stock.
Once I'm happy with the printing, I'll offer them for sale. I can also do custom orders/requests. Just drop me a message.

Thanks,
Mike

Such an awesome idea and very well executed! Job well done.

Stupid question - what's the best medium to have these printed on? Would it be easiest to have these printed professionaly somewhere? I really like the idea, I'm just stumbling around trying to figure out the best way to execute.

I have always found using an inkjet printer, and printing on photo paper, wait a couple days to dry, then coat with an enamel flat coat, like Testors.

Any chance of getting the link fixed or is someone has the files, re-link them?

Thanks

At one point in time, I downloaded and saved many of them. I don't know that there would be a copyright issue, but if there is NOT, I can email some?
