UPS dropped off a nice present yesterday........the Revell 144 Fletcher. It DOES exist.

I've been lurking around waiting for this to arrive Stateside...........and i got impatient. My first order from White Ensign Models...........they treated me like royalty (must have been my accent)... Box arrived unblemished and pristine. The only negative was that Revell forgot to tape one of the sprue bags shut and they got loose and banged around some inside, only minor wharf rash. They got this Stateside in less than a week. I'm very impressed.

I'm even more impressed with the kit itself. Large box with cardboard inserts protected the contents. I was in a hurry, but all I'm going to do is study it..........cogitate some, make plans, and wait for Lion Roar to come out with an update kit.

Hi Steve

First, I have to echo Dave's request
Second, WEM treat us all in that manner - it really is impressive
Third, and IMHO, at this scale you can make your own upgrades... evergreen rules!

Considering you have this as a base:

you can easily make a stand out Fletcher, and with a more appealing camo scheme (so many much more interesting ones)
Looking forward for any further news/developments!

I am not a professional writer, nor have I ever written a full plastic model review before....ever. Having said that, because of the requests..........(and I know I have been very interested in the kit myself) I am putting together a brief "In-Box First Impressions" with some closeup photos of selected parts of the Spues. I should post this later this evening.

That would be very nice, this is one kit I am very interested in buying this year.
