The 160th has been around since the early 80’s when the U.S. Army developed a special aviation unit during the failed hostage rescue mission “Desert One” in Iran. In 1981 the 160th became their own battalion and were popularly known as Task Force 160. Its focus on night operations resulted in the nickname, "The Night Stalkers."

Thanks for the heads-up and review on this one, mother. I have two questions:

1. As far as the AH-6/MH-6 pics go, are they all the newer M models? or are there some J models in there too?

2. Are there any good armament pictures on the Little Bird or Blackhawk?

Thanks!
Andy

They are all M models with the six bladed main rotor and four bladed tail rotor. There is one photo of the weapon platform with no weapon attached. A few with new bench seating and also of the FRIES. The MH 60 had no weapons, however there are three shots of the mini-gun on the MH 47. HTH
