Eduard have released a useful set of six 1/48 scale French WW1 pilots and groundcrew.

I recently had these delivered to my grasping clutches. I hope to put them together for a build review in the future.

The similarites of the figure poses and the box top art work are easily seen but there are some large differences.

The sculpting of the faces in this set is far better than their WWI RFC figure sets.

Flesh colours done and some basic horizon blue. I was thinking about using the Microsculpt fabric texture on the uniforms.

Wow -- Those ARE very nice. I hope Eduard does with those what they did with the RFC figures and 'downsize' them to 1/72.

I have 2 sets of the RFC figures and they are nice to have! Thanks for the reviews!

I do like the figures but shouldn't you put them in a diorama?

Playing or not Carl has spurred me on to get at these bits and Bobs or should that bet Robiers. While doing some of the leather padding on the 4 Fokker dr.I kits I brought down these figures and began in ernest to finish the belts and boots. No worries Carl. keep me honest.
