They are nice conversions, a challenge but do-able. No particular plans for them at the moment, really just wanted to build some engineer type vehicles.

Looks good Alan. I must say that I like the looks of the Cromwell/Centaur family which reminds me that I must build one some day soon (5 x Tamiya and 1 x Accurate Armour in the stash)

Hi Folks some updates on the dozer. Comments most welcome. I'll post the rest over on the Big a for wider feed back.













Managed to get all of 3 or 4 minutes decent light so sorry the pics were a bit rushed and the lighter one is went the flash started going off.

Hi Derek,

The two standing engineers are Resicast and the seated guy is an Accurate Armour figure that is now OOP, although Derek did say he may be getting some of his original figs recast sometimes this year! The seated chap behind pouring the wine is also by AA and should be available.

Yip serious spanner lol, lol. I'm pretty sure that's the one the comes with him.

Hi Keith,

Just going through a bit iof an engineering phase recently. The pier is on going but has been on hold for a while as I wanted a change and also had a house move. Only just starting to get back to building after about a 9 week layoff, painting, drilling, etc in the new home - trying to get sorted out.

I managed to find the spotlight so that been added and just leaves a small PE mirror and ariel cage.

Thanks for looking guys, if the wind drops and it's reasonable weather I'll try and get a few more pics of progress tomorrow/today

Derek, thanks for the comments, a bit more to do to finish it off..

Mal, the cable is thread. There is some wire that comes with the kit but thread is more flexible when fitting the blade and connecting the lifting blocks.. The lifting blocks are a nightmare, they are cast as one piece and you therefore have to drill lots of little holes through them to feed the wire/thread through. If they had been cast in 3 parts (wheel and 2 sides) it would have been much better and easier.

The tracks are the kit tracks, just painted and weathered. I did that bit before adding the blade. Interior is scratched, to a fashion.

Looks nice, Alan. Did you make the cables for the pully (to dozer blade) or were they part of the kit? Are the trcks of the metal veriety? They look very good

Some pics of the Centaur Dozer I'm working on. This is the Tamiya Cromwell converted to a Centaur Dozer with the Accurate Armour Conversion. Still aways to go.





Have finsihed the main build and now started on the weathering and possible stowage.
