In-Box Review
Historic Bald Heads Vol.1

I guess when a company releases heads sets, sends a sign that will be seriously interested in the figure stuff. So lately MIG Productions have released 2 heads sets in 54mm .One of them is the Bald Heads Vol.I (meaning that more volumes are to follow this first one)
The set is sculpted by Einion Rees

The Set

In a plastic bag with no further protection (not that is needed) we have 5 bald heads. They come in cream color resin and they are very well casted with absolutely no flaws or bubbles of any kind.

All of them are differently sculpted so no repetitions in the set. Most of the expressions are on the serious side and one of them is shouting with mouth open. The sculpture is good, though if it was a bit more intense I wouldnít have any problem with it.

They can surely be used in improving other figures quality, replacing standard kit heads, plus that u can use them on newly sculpted figures, if u donít like to sculpt the head of them. They donít have any restrictions regarding the era you would like to represent using them, cause they are simply bald heads. U can add some helmet or cap and also maybe sculpt some hair or moustache if u like.

Useful set for sure. My only suggestion is that maybe some more dramatic expression could have been shown, in one or two of them (a laughing face, or an arrogant looking one, or something different)

Recommended for sure

About Costas Rodopoulos (Major_Goose)

I loved to build dioramas and military vehicles till the Vietnam Era. I don't like modern stuff so much. 4 years ago I had a crush on figure painti...
