Also included are decals for line jets from both squadrons and F-15C's deployed on Operation Iraq Freedom. All schemes are Mod Eagle, which is dark grey [FS 36176] over medium grey [FS 36251]. There are a generous amount of stencils enabling the modeller to create three F-15C's from this release. There is also an option using dark grey stencils. Afterburner say that the markings printed are accurate FS colours. Designed for Hasegawa kit.

Afterburner Decals have put in a lot of time and effort in releasing these decals. There has been considerable input from service personnel judging by the thank you list Afterburner has given for the help in providing information. Although the markings are not spectacular, there is enough interesting markings [five aircraft with kill markings] along with the Mod Eagle camouflage scheme to decorate your F-15 creating a talking point with fellow modellers. There is a generous amount of information to go with the decals. Information about colours and markings on bay 5, nose gear doors, speed brakes, etc., are all very useful. The amount of information given will help you spend less time on research and more time on modelling.
Quality of the print by Cartograf is stunning. Decals are glossy with a minimum amount of carrier film. All the written stencils are sharp and legible except for the tiniest of stencils, that you would have to view with a strong magnifying glass. There are enough stencils for three aircraft, but there is nothing to stop the modeller from using the kits stencils to utilise even more of the above markings. The individual stencil guide is very useful inclusion in simplifying the positioning of the stencils.
Another fantastic decal sheet from Afterburner Decals. If the mighty F-15C and D are amongst you models that you want to build, then I would recommend highly this release.
