Introduction:
ASM-006 XVIII – XIX century House Corner is another base kit from the very useful PegasObjects range from Pegaso Models. The magnificent resin kits, at the time of writing only available in 54mm, save the modeler time and effort while providing them with a great presentation for their figure. This particular item, XVIII – XIX century House Corner, is masterfully sculpted by talented Russian sculptor Victor Konnov.
Boxing:
The kit comes in the classic size and shape Pegaso hard carton box, but in a brown – yellow color scheme, which defines it as being of another product range. The box-art, painted by Emiliano Iacobacci , shows a painted kit, which serves as a painting guide. The box is filled with paper strips as protection for the 4 resin pieces, which are inside a zip locker plastic bag.
The Kit:
These scenery kits are relatively simple in construction, and this one is no exception. Consisting of only 4 pieces, these include: a stone floor ground part; a piece of a corner wall; a drain pipe; and the lamp (including its mounting on the wall).
Quality:
The kit is sculpted nice, with good detail to texture. All parts are realistically recreated.
The casting (done from the Greek company YS Castings - Masterpieces) is absolutely flawless with no air holes or anything else that has to be corrected.
Fit:
The kit is pretty simple to assemble. It comes together even better, with some glue between the 4 pieces and the result is a nice setting for your figure .You will be only needing some extra care for detaching the lamp mounting from the resin peg as the piece is really thin and sensitive.
Conclusion:
Once again, Pegaso provides more classic scenery kit with this XVIII – XIX century House Corner. A useful kit for many different figures, that doesn’t need any addition more than a careful painting. Suggested for all modelers. Take care in painting and you will be “Pegaso Satisfied”!
