A new addition to Ray Horwell's Fantasy Printshop decals range is a beautifully produced set of modern Luftwaffe insignia in 1:32.
The postwar Luftwaffe was formed in 1956 as the aerial branch of the new Bundeswehr, some ten years after the Nazi-era Luftwaffe was disbanded. To distinguish it from the former Luftwaffe's straight-sided Balkan Kreuz, the insignia of new air force was styled after the traditional cross pattée, dating back to the middle ages which was used during most of WWI.
Fantasy Printshop's sheet is beautifully printed, with the thin, glossy items showing no excess carrier film at all. The registration is pin-sharp, and the sheet contains insignia in the following sizes:
