ABOUT

Producer: Attack Squadron/Arma Hobby

Item numbers: ASQ72138 wheels and ASQ72139 propeller

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

What do we get in the box then? Attack Squadron sets are very easy to use add-ons which replace plastic parts. There's no need of cutting anything in the model, you just simply replace plastic parts with the resin ones.

Set no. ASQ72138 contain two wheels. In contrast to the plastic parts, they have much better detail in the wheel rims, name of the tire manufacturer, and its scale size. Tires are also lightly weighted so you will need to pay some attention when attaching the parts, as not to glue them upside down.

Set no. ASQ72139 contains just one part, the propeller. This resin part has a better shape and profile in comparison to the plastic one. It features some sharp details which are not possible with plastic injection technology. It also has slightly longer blades than the plastic originals.

IN CONCLUSION

With these two simple sets from Attack Squadron/Arma Hobby your PZL.23/42 will get a much better look than built out of the box. With their prices I don't find any reason for someone not wanting to improve on the plastic parts.

Thanks for the review Mecenas, and thank you for posting photos with the kit parts included for comparison. I will be getting both of these sets.
