There are three trim levels to choose from: the SE, Sport, the S-line and the Edition#1.
PackagingYou will be glad to read that the Herpa Audi Q2 is very well protected inside a clear plastic box. It will be also quite useful for displaying your model keeping the dust at bay.
The ModelThis particular release comes in ibis white plastic, with plastic black trim. The coloured plastic of the body work is excellent and the scale shine is spot on. So there will be no paint flaking as can be found on die cast models. The body work shaping looks very good indeed. Not surprising really as Herpa has developed the miniature of this SUV in cooperation with Audi. The clear glazing is very clear and free from blemishes. The clear plastic windows look remarkably flush with the body work. There is a fair amount of quality detail on the outside. The distinctive Audi badge at the front and rear is really well done. The detail on the radiator grill, side mirrors, and the interior is first rate. You may want to reproduce the look of the mirrored glass yourself. The interior detail in black looks fine and its left hand drive. There is even a single chromed exhaust pipe sticking out the back, a nice touch. The alloy hubs and the treaded tyres look the part. The clear plastic headlights and coloured brake lights really add to the feeling of quality. The only slight disappointment is the superficial detail on the underside. But this is minor point, the model is meant to be viewed from above. I am always amazed at the weight of the Herpa Models, very light compared to the die cast equivalent.
This is a great looking scale replica of Audis latest SUV. Shape looks very good as you can see from the images. There is a real sense of quality and it will look very good as a stand alone model or as part of a layout.
