Curtiss P-40E Exhausts

by: Jean-Luc Formery [ TEDMAMERE ]

The parts
Signifer is well known for the quality and detail of their resin kits. It is not different with this set of resin exhausts. The crisply moulded parts are one-to-one replacements for the kit ones. The only difference, you've guessed it, is that the resin ones have been hollowed to add this extra realism to your model.

All you will have to do is remove the parts from the pouring block, paint them and attach them like the kit parts. This will save you from drilling out the original plastic parts, wich is always a hazardous task!

Conclusion
You think hollowing exhausts is too difficult? You are searching for a realistic and easy to use alternative for Hasegawa's P-40E original parts? You can use Signifer's ones, they are excellent! Signifer's P-40 exhausts are available directly from the manufacturer for 3€ (Europe) or 2,51€ (overseas).

Thank you to Signifer for kindly supplying the review sample.
