Anna Linkevich from ICM has kindly sent Aeroscale images of the box cover for the 1/144 Tupolev Tu-144, which ICM will be releasing in the near future.
Legato have announced the release of two separate 1/144 kits of the Yak-40. One boxing sees the little three engined Yak in civvies, the other boxing is for Yak’s in Uniform. The latter includes marking for an Angolan AF aircraft. Now you don’t find Angolan AF markings in a kit release very often.
Olimp Models recent 1/72 releases includes resin conversion set for Mirage 2000D operating over Afghanistan and Libya and a conversion set for a torpedo carrying MH-60R. For fans of dioramas, Olimp have released a 10 ton deck Tractor used by the Russian Navy and a separate deck section of the ‘Admiral Kuznesov’.
Large Scale Planes have announced a replacement cowling set for the Trumpeter 1/32 F4U-1D Corsair kit. The patterns were made by LSP's own Chris Sherland, and it also features photo-etched parts courtesy Radu Brinzan.
Pavla Models well known for their excellent resin products have released three new 1/48 ejector seats. Pavla has sent us images of the three brand new castings.
F-RSIN is due to release in November two plastic kits and one resin kit in 1/144. The plastic kits will be the ‘Whispering Giant’, the Bristol Britannia 300 and the rather cute looking SAAB 90 Scandia. The Britannia kit will include decals for three liveries and the SAAB has two liveries. The resin kit is for an Air France Dewoitine 338 and looks rather fetching in natural metal.
Petr Buchr from CMR has informed me that the resin 1/72 brand new tooling of the Royal Naval fighter bomber, the Supermarine Scimitar is now hitting the shops. CMR are offering three versions and a separate wing fold set.

Eduard have sent us details of their latest kits and aftermarket sets, and it looks like October will be a busy month for them! The new 1:72 Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat hits the shelves, and there's a mass of detail sets for the Tamiya P-51D and the first of a whole series designed for Revell's big He 111:

Some fascinating forthcoming decal releases from Kits World covering P-51D’s. There will be four releases all together and also expect the usual interesting background stories that accompany the releases.
Xtradecal have released decals in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 for this year’s [2011] Hawk T.1A display aircraft based at RAF Valley. Flown by Fl. Lt Jules Flemming, XX226 proudly displays a Dragon Logo. The 1/72 decal sheet has some extra RAF display markings for a Shorts Tucano [2011] and a Hawk T.1A [1993] as a bonus.

North Star have added to their range of highly detailed Russian weaponry with a series of ex-MiniArm resin R-27 (AA-10 Alamo) missiles with specially designed Begemot decals.
Great Wall Hobby have contacted us an explanation of the "wrong nose" problems that have surrounded the released version of their Black Widow, along with an offer to replace the part free of charge.

More Mig's-23 in 1:72 scale (1:72)
RV Resin from Czech Republic continues to widen their range of the Mig's-23 in 1/72 scale. This time the MiG 23ML, MiG 23MS and the MiG 23B will be released.
1/72: New kits from Sword (1:72)
Sword from the Czech Republic has announced five new kits in 1/72 that should be in the shops soon. Releases include a tropical Spitfire Vc, P-47N, Ki 44 and two Curtis Seamews, one of which is fitted with floats.
1/72: Vought F6U-1 Pirate (1:72)
Admiral Models have announced the release of two new kits of the Vought F6U-1 Pirate. The Vought Pirate is not a type as far as I know that has been produced by injected kit manufacturers. Admiral Models have gone for a walk of the plank and taken the plunge by adding two versions of the Pirate, the early and the late.
AZ Model from Czech Republic have published few interesting pictures of their latest release which is Morane Saulnier M.S. 406 "Battle of France" in 1/48 scale.

The all new resin 1/32 P-63 King Cobra is having the final touches done before HPH starts manufacturing this beauty.

No I have not typed the wrong scale, and no I did not dream it up during an afternoon nap. HPH Models of the Czech Republic are producing a master for a 1/32 scale Catalina. I can hardly believe myself.
Montex Masks from Poland, a producer of the high quality painting masks and few resin kits, have initiated the new product line in their offer: decals. At the beginning of new series the company offers three sets in two scales of Polish military aircrafts.
1/48 Wolfpack: Su-30 Resin. (1:48)
Wolfpack Designs have released upgrade mixed media upgrades, well mostly resin, for the Academy 1/48 Su-30MK kit. One set is for the cockpit, another is for the wheel bays and vertical tail and finally Wolfpack have released a set just for the K-36DM seats.
On 27th September Zvezda have published two new pictures of the Yak-3 model kit in 1/72 scale.

Mirage Hobby have sent us details of their next exciting aircraft kit - the PZL.43A in Luftwaffe colours. Kit #481311 is due for worldwide release in November.
Squadron Signal have republished one of their classic "In Action" aviation titles in both its original format and a new hardback edition:

CMK have a very interesting line-up of releases this month. There are detail sets for Tamiya's 1:48 Mosquito and Spitfire Mk.V, and Hasegawa's 1:72 Flying Fortress comes in for no a mass of extra details. Meanwhile, in the Planet Models range there's a full resin kit of the P.V.7 experimental WW1 fighter.
