HpH Models have sent us photos of the patterns for their exciting new 1:48 resin kit of the Sukhoi T-50 - Russia's prototype fifth-generation fighter which first flew this year.
The new kit is being prepared for release early in the New Year, so a lot of the details are obviously still missing at this stage, but you can already get an idea of the impressive surface finish from the photo of the highly polished moulds.

Indeed, it can't be more modern than this. I think that there are currently only a few prototypes flying of this thing. I wonder though where they get the data and dimesnions to build this model. I don't think that the developers made special bleuprints to accomodate the modelling industry And all in resin? what will be the cost of that?
