Modelimex have released sprue shots of Valom's eagerly awaited An-2.
The kit combines injected styrene parts with resin and photo-etched details, and shows a finely "riveted" surface finish.

Valom's Colt is available in military and civil guises and are expected to be in stock very soon, price 39.50 € at Modelimex - specialists in Eastern European short run kits.

Hi Rowan I had seen this a week ago (less sprue shots then) and I must say that I am really excited about this release!!! Too bad it is no East German aircraft but a modern one. cheers Steffen

Hi Rowan. Looking forward to this also, I used to see one flying around the Oxford area and it looked enormous for something flying on one engine. tim

Hi again I'm really excited because Václav e-mailed today to let us know that a sample is on the the way! The Military or Civil version?... who knows?... what I do know is that either is going to be a scary distraction from the builds I've already lined up! All the best Rowan
