A quarterscale injected kit of the Airspeed Horsa has been high on modellers' wish-lists for years, so one of the latest arrivals at Model Hobbies could be very exciting news!

Kit #6061 is produced by Fonderie Miniatures. I haven't found any details yet, but if it's like their previous products it will comprise limited run styrene parts, along with mixed-media details.

Now I think it's fair to state that FM kits have somewhat chequered reputation (to say the least), so the Horsa presents a fantastic opportunity for them to really raise their game; if they've done a good job on this one, it should sell well.

The Horsa is a surprisingly big beast and the kit comes with a price-tag to match; a m.r.p. in the UK of £84.99, but Model Hobbies as usual are offering a very worthwhile discount that knocks this down to £76.49.
