Zvezda have updated their website with some infos about their anticipated 1:48 scale Bf109 F kit. Judging from the CAD drawings it seems as if we can expect the same level of detail as the La-5 serie of kits from the same manufacturer.
Interesting to note is that the model has been designed in a modular way so we can expect some more variants in the future. It seems as if five colorful marking options will be provided in the kit.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here on AeroScale.

Hi Sergey That looks fantastic. Galland's aircaft have always fascinated me - I might have to treat myself to another Zvezda Friedrich or two... All the best Rowan

Hi all I bought my kit yesterday and I must say that it is a beauty!!! I am really looking forward to see the Vector stuff for sale so I can do the Galland conversion .... BTW even the pilot looks very nice - except for the head maybe, But I will have to test fit it before I can tell for sure. cheers Steffen

when do you all learn to write the designation correct ... I even already mentioned it above[/quote]Have you ever thought it's because we know it winds you up so much The kit does look nice but I myself would be inclined to get the Vector stuff and do Galland's BF-109

Hi Sergey Thanks for the pics. That's interesting! - two different aircraft, or two different paint schemes anyway. There's the famous Mickey Mouse emblem in the last one. All the best Rowan

OK, I'm impressed. Just got this kit in the mail today. (very nice). I had thought it would be something of a rehash of the UM kit (which is awful). In spite of some packaging similarities as well as some engineering similarities (notably the tail and wing tip plugs), it is a very different bird from the UM kits. Looking very much forward to the build. Cheers, Fred

If any enterprising decal guys want to add this aircraft to their line, I have the art done. It doesn't really fit in our "milieu" so to speak
