Revell have published some images of their forthcoming 1/32 scale Typhoon kit on their website.
The model obviously features detailed engines. Below is a link to the Revell site with more images:

Damn....I saw this and thought it was a proper Typhoon..i.e. WW2. None the less it looks a nice rendition .....wanders off muttering and banging myself on the head

Hi there LOL! Imagine the excitement if this was a new-tool largescale "proper" Typhoon! (Hint - Revell...) All the best Rowan

It would have been better if Revell had started over with a WWII Typhoon. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

I think a Tempest would be even better!!

Hi there I think this thread has thoroughly hijacked itself! The actual kit at hand does look as though it'll be pretty stunning - but I hope Revell's planning department are reading and also pick up on the obvious interest in a new largescale Tiffie (or Tempest)... All the best Rowan

Looks really cool. I would rather have the new Typhoon than the old one, but I am also a 109 fan myself Will be interesting to see if it can be build as both Tranche I and trance II versions and what kind of decals are included.

I,for one, am eagerly awaiting the arrival but i do have to share the sentiment of my fellow modellers.A few new toolings of old kits would`nt go amiss(WW II Typhoon,Mosquito and Spitfire MK 1 spring to mind !).These would surely be big sellers all over the world so why do`nt manufacturers read sites like these - it could save them a packet in market research.
