I stumbled on these on ebay and have been watching them there. Bummer because most are out of Asia. Lets see if I can find a reasonable price via retail. I did snag an older one on 'bay - maybe a quick look when it arrives.

I've got the F/A 18 eggornet that's egg hornet.. incase any one was wondering.. an they are a super quick build.. lil sanding on the join lines an very little if any putty is needed.. an then slap some paint on them and TA-DA you have an egg plane... they are cute an take up very little space to display.. will post some photos later on when I have extra time.. I still need to do the decals on mine to finish it off. Chris

I managed to find the F-14 and SR-71 a fair few years back, so it'll be nice to get some more when they're released

About 8 years back, I was able to acquire an F-14 EggPlane, which was stolen by somebody in our office. Luckilly, I was able to get another. With this kit, I have another 4 more to build, an F-15, the Space Shuttle, a FW-190 and a Mitsubishi Zero. I really wish I could get that SR-71 and a Sabre. Are there EggPlanes from the First World War?

Every once in a while you can find the older/original( Sr-71 & Sabre) Egg Kits on E-bay. You may spend more than the kits of today but every once in a while you can get lucky. Paul

"Egg Squadron - Scramble, Scramble !!" A friend bought some of these a while back, and I asked him why he wasn't buying REAL models. He built one for his wife, who could care less about model planes, and she went on and on about how cute it was. Then - he gave me a kit of one, D**n him! The P-38. It sat for awhile, and then, I just thought I would throw it together to tell him at least I built it. Well, I had so much fun with that darn kit, I had to get another. My wife loved the P-38, but her favorite WWII plane is the Corsair. So, when one came up on eBay, I pounced - Again, oodles of fun building. Well, I've picked up several of these kits ("Poached" them off Ebay, if you will ) and am "egg-static" Hasagawa is re-releasing some. They are a hoot to build, and if a Group Build does "hatch", count me in. But, beware - these things are the most addicting kits I've come across. Cheers, Mike
