Beacon Models is a new company planning to release a number of WWII aircraft in 1/144 scale
”Beacon Models is thrilled to announce that we are developing a range of plastic scale model kits that will set a new standard of quality, detail and precision. We aim to produce exceptional kits for the discerning hobbyist.
We are excited to announce our debut collection of model kits, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. In order to develop this project, your support will be invaluable.
Our Kickstarter campaign, launching in winter 2020, will give you exclusive access to early backer rewards and prices! We intend to produce four collections of model kits featuring RAF and Luftwaffe aircraft from the Battle of Britain.
The more funds we raise, the more kits will be unlocked for you to pledge for and receive as backer rewards.
‘The Few’ will be a collection of plastic scale model kits in 1/144 scale featuring iconic aircraft that fought in the Battle of Britain. 2020 marks the 80th anniversary of the event, and we want to produce model kits that will allow scale models and tabletop gamers to build a collection of these aircraft with the assurance that the models with be of high of quality, fidelity and consistency.
We are aiming to make this product suitable for both scale modellers and tabletop gamers. For the modellers, we will ensure that the kits faithfully represent the aircraft with accurately presented dimension, and fine details rendered in exquisite detail using cutting edge tooling technology. This will be consistent across the entire collection leaving no gaps in availability or compromises in quality. For the gamers, we will design the kits so that they can be easily assembled in a configuration that is suitable for the tabletop, featuring mounting holes for flying bases, optional raised undercarriages and blade-less propeller spinners. This way there is no need for special conversion work and there are no delicate small details which could break easily during play. Because of this the models can be used with a variety of bases and game rules of the customer’s choice, though we will release our own rules to complement the model kits.
The products will be divided into Modellers’ Collections and Gamers’ Sets, so that customers can purchase the set that is right for them.”

Beacon Models may have a great marketing strategy here. I can't tell if the model is CGI or photos of a test build but it looks impressive - esp. the cockpit. With one of the founders being of Wingnut Wings, I suspect the tooling will be great! I look forward to seeing some of these in person or in the forums.
