Hypersonic Models has been working on a airframe update set for Kitty Hawks 1/48 scale FJ-2 Fury

"A little preview of the forthcoming FJ-2 Fury airframe update set. The corrected nose comes already attached to a new, full-depth intake with corrected J47 face. While the intake is basically seamless, it had to be split into two parts as otherwise de-moulding wouldn't be possible. The join is far down the intake and when assembled cleanly can't be seen. The two-part affair will make painting easier as well. The nose wheel well had some detail added. A full-length and better proportioned exhaust and a corrected catapult hook well will be part of the set as well. Starting casting now, instructions still left to do (most tedious and least favorite part of a new product...)"
