Special Hobby have really gone to town on Airfix's recent 1:48 Tiger Moth with the announcement of no less than five upgrade and correction sets in their CMK range.
DH.82 Tiger Moth Cockpit Correction Set
This correction set brings nice level of detail and has been designed to fit the new Airfix’s DH.82 Tiger Moth kit. Besides being better at details, it also corrects various shape flaws of the kit, namely in the cockpit where the floor and the adjacent parts are not exactly spot on. The set also offers a fret of photo etches.

Set #4407 will be available soon - Price: 17.90 Euros

DH.82 Tiger Moth Control Surfaces
The new DH.82 Tiger Moth kit as made by Airfix does not have the control surfaces as separate parts. This set mends the issue and also brings nicer levels of detail to the surfaces.

Set #4408 is available now - Price: 10.20 Euros

DH.82 Tiger Moth Luggage Box
The open luggage compartment in the fuselage relates closely to Cockpit set no.CMK4407. It can be as well used alone, though. Not only do the finely detailed resin parts portray the fuselage internal structure, they also bring a superb-looking leather bag, yes exactly of the type a flight instructor needs on a weekend out with his lass.

Set #4409 is available now - Price: 10.20 Euros

DH.82 Tiger Moth Exterior Set
To bring the appearance and level of detail of the Airfix’s DH.82 Tiger Moth a great deal higher, why not use this bunch of resin parts which simply replace the original styrene items of the kit, as they, sadly, do not possess the crisp detail the modellers demand these days. The parts on offer here is the top engine cowl panel with a non-slip step plate of the correct size and the piano-type hinge, missing from the styrene item. The top wing fuel tank offers life like portrayal of its corrugated sheet metal construction and finer surface detail.

Set #4410 is available now - Price: 9.20 Euros

DH.82 Tiger Moth Mainwheels and Tailskid
The resin cast main undercarriage wheels feature finely rendered and crisp detail as well as the manufacturer’s logo. On top of that all, the resin set also brings three styles of the wheel hubs, both on the outboard side of the wheel and the side close to the wheel axle. These three styles are as follows – a simple hub without any cover, a hub with a plain cover and a hub cover with the manufacturer’s initials.

Set #4411 is available now - Price: 7.70 Euros

All the sets can be ordered direct from Special Hobby's online shop.
