Kitty Hawk has announced two new Naval Helicopters are shipping to distributors now. Their 1/35 SH-60B and SH-60F are being shipped and should hit stores soon.
Kitty Hawk's two newest helicopter kits are the latest in their 1/35 Sikorsky H-60 series and are the first of a grouping of Naval versions. They have very colorful markings that showcase aviation artist Shayne Meder's work. She paints the actual aircraft with the colorful artwork shown. You can read all about Shayne and her work at her website.

You can see previous Aeroscale news releases with in-progress photos of each version below.

Thanks for posting this Tim. These look really great to me. I can't wait for them and the rest of their planned 1/35 helicopters.

Sweet. My Navy SAR Corpsman blood pressure just went up with a plastic adrenaline rush!

Hopefully they will release an HH-60H soon too. These are almost there, but need the opening port side windows. Pretty much everything else is in these kits, and the HIRSS exhaust parts are already in the MH-60L and HH-60G kits. That could also allow for a USCG HH/MH-60J/T version as well (same basic fuselage as the HH-60H, just w/open exhausts). Fingers crossed. USN HH-60H USCG MH-60T

Just got in my SH-60F.  It is a great looking kit.  It also has a bunch of unused parts.  Some of these are the HIRSS exhaust (MH-60R and HH-60H) and clear parts for the sliding port side windows (HH-60Hs and USCG HH/MH-60J/Ts).  You can pretty much build any Naval H-60 from the kit (minus MH-60S), with just a little bit of scratch work around the port side windows.  This looks like a real winner. There is an issue with the instructions in the first batch though.  There are some pages printed w/o diagrams and others where two pages are printed over each other.  Here are the correct instructions pages.
