DN Models have released a handy mask set for the marking options found in the 1/32nd HobbyBoss kit.
A-26B Invader Numbers and Insignia Paint Mask Set 1/32nd
Suggested scale - 1/32nd
Suggested kits - Hobby Boss A-26B Invader
Price - $20.99
SKU - 32/827-041
Re-usable die-cut mask set – All versions featured in #83213 are included

The set includes two sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. Material is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

The A-26B Invader paint mask set is designed to be used instead of the decals included in the Hobby Boss #83213 kit. Since decals have carrier film and cannot be weathered with enough realism, this set provides an alternative approach to solving that problem. Application of paint instead of decals present you with the option to chip the paint and alter the colors of the insignia and numbers, as well as to avoid decals carrier film seen on the decal. Due to the relatively large size of the A-26B Invader in 32nd scale, this is the best method for markings application. This goes for smaller scale models as well. This is the best and most realistic method of applying various insignia on a model kit.

Masks instead of Decals
Not all of the decals can be substituted with masks and this is due to various reasons. However, major and important elements of the Insignia, lettering and numbering of the aircraft can be applied with painting. This set covers the versions included in #83213 and are designed specifically for A-26B Invader #HB83213 kit in 32nd scale. All of the items included in the set are visible on the cover. Besides specific nose-art, the set complete all the major components presented in the decal sheet of Hobby Boss’s A-26B Invader kit.
