Richard from Magic Scale Modelling has sent Aeroscale word of a new line in a digital sound system that creates the noise of classic a WWI engines to fit 1/32, 1/28 and 1/24 scale. The first release will be the sound of a Mercedes engine
"These electronic sets are of course Plug and Play. The content of the box is physically identical to the electronic sets dedicated to engine+sound at 1/48th scale that you have already reviewed.
The difference is at program level as it reproduces now exactly WW1 engines performances and plays top quality and authentic soundtracks taken on restored aircrafts
The box contains instructions, the electric engine 4mm diameter, the circuit board, the full range speaker and battery holder on/off.
The cabling is of course Plug & Play and fool proof."

Richard, MSM

The sound system will fit the following kits:
●1/32 Wingnut Wings, Roden, Special hobby and Cooper State models
●1/28 Revell
●1/24 Merit International

The illustrations show the sound system fitted to the 1/32 scale Albatross DIII from Roden. Richard will keep us posted about further releases that he has planned including some rotary engines.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here – on AEROSCALE.
