Hihi! Very nice! "Ohne Mampf kein Kampf!" as we say in Germany, which means in english something like "No food, no fight!" But maybe the shoes are wrong? Marseille often wore sport shoes when flying, no boots. Yes, he was special ....

Yes, very nice, but I’m a bit perplexed as to why he’s posing precariously on the sill of his BF 109, eating from a plate while not wearing all the flight gear (not to mention uncomfortable). Seems a bit off to me. I think he’d be better posed sitting in the seat of “Otto” or maybe on the hood (bonnet). Why would anyone choose to eat perched like that on the edge of their cockpit? Seems it would be difficult to carry a plate up on the wing too. VR, Russ
