The end of an icon of modeling. Recently, a model vendor gave me an announcement from Testors with troubling news.
The announcement from Testors, dated 1 April 2019, shows some 250 items will be discontinued.

I contacted Testors and their reply follows:
The product line that has been discontinued is the Model Masters International Military & Figure Enamels. This was due to a lack of support in the marketplace. (Emphasis added.) If you have any additional questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

I was told this discontinued items include their Aztek airbrushes. Testors did not address that but in a related letter Testors stated that I can send in my Aztek for a tuneup. Clarification has been requested.

That is a shame as I like these paints but I have found them next to impossible to find in the UK.

Well... A bummer to be sure. But if they can't sell em... they gotta quit making em.

Hopefully they will keep their acrylic line going, but this is some bad news. MM and Tamiya are the main paints I use.
