Very nice decals for the Rumanian Gustavs. Cool camouflage and nice markings

Those Romanian decals just may convince me to build another 109 someday.

Ok Jim I do not see your point here, but I will remove my post. I just posted it because it fit in the Rumanian topic .. and no I am not affiliated neither to Radu Brinzan nor Fantasy Printshop nor the Hyperscale plane taking forum I am sorry best wishes Steffen Edit: many thanks for the explanation via PM, Jim! Maybe it would be a good idea to post some kind of guideline somewhere (maybe there is already??) to make clear that news threads are different .. what about the other specials (Feature ... ) .. BTW I still see the deleted post?!

Hi Steffen and Jim I'm glad to see you've come to a quiet consensus behind the scenes - always the best idea in the long run. Steffen, I'm not sure if you've tried to delete your original post - I can still see it too, so that may be a glitch for Staff_Jim to look at. I'd certainly be very sad if you took things the wrong way from this incident and chose not to submit News items - we value your input and keen overview of the market. I'll take this as an opportunity to encourage all our members to submit News stories via the Send Us News option. Posting items in the Forum is good, but submitting News is better; basically, it's a win/win situation - the story gets more prominence on the front page, is easier to track and has a longer shelf-life (which, incidentally, is why it's so popular with vendors. ) All the best Rowan

Hi Rowan well, Jim (Rae) and I got into each others way several times already .. it must be something about me .. I do not know ... personally I don't like confrontations . OTOH if Jim had sent me an explanatory PM and not an open attack it would surely have gone more quiet ... so maybe we share the blame ... Also maybe you (Staff) could write up a short netiquette for Aeroscale, as it differs from other places where I lurk around As I wrote Jim, I just did not realize the news section is reserved for the (paying?) vendors and thus should be kept free of other stuff especially hints to other products (though the last posts are surely OT too) .. my intetion was just to add value .. and yes I "deleted" the post and cannot access it anymore .. somehow this occurs quite often to me???? (see Edit above) best wishes Steffen

Hi Steffen We're of a like mind if we don't like getting into confrontations. Most things in life boil down to a simple misunderstanding. Judging by your reply, I'll draw the conclusion that you and Jim didn't quite come to the consensus I'd hoped for... So, I'll put on my M.E. mantle and say that I think Jim was correct in this instance was in pointing out that your RB link would have been far better as a News item in its own right. It's exactly the sort of lead that we've now got Andy (Betheyn) ready to follow up. However, I agree with you that a PM from Jim to you would have been more helpful than a post full of CAPITALS - in effect, the furore over your addition has overshadowed the original News item - which I'm sure was neither your nor Jim's intent. There's obviously been a basic misunderstanding if you've taken from Jim's (or my) explanation that the News section is reserved for paying vendors. It's not. Full stop. Anyone can post a News Story - and it will carry equal weight. I'll go further and state that our News section isn't an advertising section - yes, it includes announcements from vendors, but it should also serve as a portal to all items of interest found by our members. All the best Rowan PS I'll raise the issue of your inability to delete your post.
