Fine Molds are releasing two IJN Aircraft, new tooled due soon.
Fine molds are releasing IJN Type 96 II carrier based fighter and the IJN Type 96 IV carrier based fighter both new tooled. When it comes to re-releasing Fine molds don't seem to just add new parts or different decals but seem to just reinvent it them instead. Their type 96 started life in 1992, in 2003 it was redone with new tooling Type 96 (claude) in the same year a second one with new parts was also released (Mitsubishi A5M32a fighter "claude") .
2014 saw another new tooling to the type 96 (Mitsubishi Ka-14) then in 2016 we see yet a further new tooling with the IJN Type 96 II and the Type 96 IV new tooled and added new parts too.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

NEGATIVE! Japan's aircraft industry was world-class and, in some instances, were far more advanced and sophisticated than Western designs. Nate, Claude, Zero, Val, Kate, Oscar, Betty, Sally, Nell, Babs, Lily - every front-line Japanese Army and Navy aircraft they started the war with was as close to 100% all-metal as European and American designs.
