It's been a long time in development, but the wait is clearly almost over. Glen Coleman has just sent us photos the built-up F2H Banshee test-shot.

It's been a long time coming. Can't be that much longer till it's finally released. Joel

It does look very nice and a welcome releases, but looking at Detail and Scales Facebook page there is some accuracy issues with it. Andy

I've heard Kittyhawk eventually plans this one in 1/32nd, I sure hope so! I like the open panel option!

It looks nice but for some odd reason it looks short. Maybe it's just the angle of the photo. I have built 2 1/72 Banshees, F-2H and they just seemed longer.---John

There were 2 lengths of banshee, the -2 and the -3. F2H-2: F2H-3 I'm hoping that Kitty Hawk does the obvious and tool up a -3 so I can put maple leaves on it

I have many books on my favorite area, early jets and it still seems "pudgy" to me. I am well aware of -2,-3,and -4 differences but something just seems odd.---John

Just my personal observation comparing the photos of the kit to photos in the Detail and Scale digital book. The wing humps look too tall, too high up on the fuselage. The intakes are too wide top to bottom and there's a lack of a sweep back to the intake openings, or very little. Will know better when I get a kit in hand.
