With the restocking of several sold-out kits and the production of new ones, Collect-Aire is keeping the bases covered when it comes to your choices for unique kit selections.

The first production run of the B-66 Destroyer sold out quickly so Collect-Aire is now taking orders for the second production run which will be in late May. These kits will not be overproduced so you better get'em while you can. The next production will not be until late fall 2003-at the earliest.

Coming sometime in 2004, Collect-Aire will be releasing the rare and often forgotten Hughes XF-11. This aircraft is 1/48 scale and to quote Collect-Aire, "very large."

The 1/32 Lockheed F-80C Shooting Star is progressing along and will include 2-3 large decal sheets including one for Naval markings. Pre-orders are being taken now for a release in August 2003.

Their B/RB-45 Tornado is on the workbench as well and will be released in Fall 2003. This is a fully detailed kit with multiple markings including the Black Knight Variant and the lend/lease RAF markings.

Additional restock items:

  • 1/12 F-16 Seated Pilot

  • 1/48 E-1 Tracer

  • S-2E Tracker

  • E-2C Hawkeye

That's about it (whew!) for right now but as always, you can find further information at Collect-Aire.
