Revell are set to release a new version of their highly regarded new-tool Stearman. The new version features a fully cowled engine and wheel spats among other changes to represent a Post War civilian stunter.
Stearman Aerobatic - New tooling updates!

1/48 scale 85-5269

The first Stearmans were used by both the Army Air Corps and the U.S. Navy to train pilots to fly combat aircraft. Built in the 1930s, the Stearman found a second life as an aerobatic demonstration aircraft. Its slow speed and maneuverability made it perfect for this new role. With over 8,000 planes built before and during the war, there were more than enough when its trainer days were over. Now, Stearmans are painted with wild color designs and corporate logos. Kit details include:

• Fixed support struts and landing gear for easier construction
• Full detail engine and interior

Looks like it could easily be converted to a crop-duster as well. Knowing my luck I'd just get finished and Revellogram will announce theirs...
