We have just been given some very exciting news from Canuck models. This appears on their Facebook page, but they have also shared it directly with Aeroscale. Photos of the decal sheets are obviously are not yet available. The photos accompanying this article have been sourced from the web. Given that the 2010 bird was destroyed early in the season, photos are quite rare, so a Flight Simulator model represents this aircraft.
Great News Today!

Today I received formal written permission from Canada's Department of National Defence Intellectual Property Team allowing Canuck Models to produce decals of the RCAF's CF-18 Air Demonstration Hornets.

Although it is possible to produce decals from photos, I am still trying to see if it would be possible to obtain source artwork for these schemes as it would make for a superior product.

The first two demos I will be doing are the 2010 'Navy' edition, and this year's 2015 camouflaged edition. I hope to be able to produce other years as well time allowing.

Why the 2010 edition? Well, yours truly spent just shy of 10 years in the Navy so that edition carries a bit more weight than the others. Plus its unfortunate demise is enough for first run inclusion as well.

1:72 and 1:48 scales will be covered and it there's enough vocal demand I will be happy to do 1:32 as well. There's no timeline yet for release but obviously I'll keep everyone informed.

If anyone has any high quality photos or other bits of useful information on these aircraft, starting with the 2010 edition forward, please share them with me. It will only make for a better product for everyone.

Thank you again to everyone for their continued support. I think this is some great news. - David Winter

I am glad to see this from Canuck and looking forward to see one of the fine aircraft modelers do the justice with these decals I could not offer. Great news for fans of Canadian aircraft.
