Special Hobby have kindly sent us in a preview of their latest releases in 1:72 scale which are Avia C.2 and Arado Ar 96 B-1/B-3 kits. These are generally the same aircraft however, which were produced and used in different countries and circumstances.
The kits will be released in three boxings:
  • SH 72 310 – Avia C.2
  • SH 72 312 – Arado Ar 96 B-1
  • SH 72 315 – Arado Ar 96 B-3
Each of the kits will contain three painting options, however for the Ar 96 B-3 we have just one painting scheme for this moment.

Inside the boxes we will find not only plastic sprues but also PE-frets and resin details. On the metal frets we will find details line instrumnet panels, seatbelts, rudder pedals, details of the bomb racks, safety construction against turnover and few over details which I do not recognize yet.

Resin parts provide two main wheels, underwing pylons, bombs, two types of propeller hub, machine gun barrel and few small parts of unknown application.

Canopy will is provided as a single clear part with a quite good transparency. Decals are printed by Aviaprint.

Pictures below present test-shoot sprues so some errors can still be noticed.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
