Not my favourite Soviet aircraft, but it is a big bad brute of a plane. Very tempted with this release though. Thanks for posting Rowan. Andy

Whilst I am sure the MiG 25 experts (both actual and imagined) will find some fault(s) with the end result, it has to be 100% better as a starting point for a 1/48 MiG 25 than the ancient Revell kit. I look forward to buying the single seater then waiting for the inevitable plethora of aftermarket that will follow in it's wake. Thanks for the progress update Rowan. Gary

I´ve bought my yesterday. My first Kittyhawk kit. Well, the quality of panel lines is really good. Fit is also very well. But there are a lot of areas with incorrect things. One of the biggest are the exhausts. Thoose are wrong for this version. Kittyhawk seems just to mix up everything from different types of MiG-25. The exhaust we get in the kit fit for the R/RB variants (rec/rec-bomber version) ,not for the interceptor PD/PDS. The exhausts should be shorter on the PD variants. But however, in base this is a really nice looking kit of a very aggressive looking aircraft (and its huge!)

I have my review ready to publish, I expect it to be up today. As noted there are a few faults with the kit, but none that I would consider a deal breaker by any stretch. Definitely worth picking up. Will take a little effort here and there, but nothing beyond the skill of most modelers...
