Eduard has just revealed one more sprue for their forthcoming 1/48 Spitfire Mk.IX.
This time we can see a test shots of fuselage halves and engine nacelles. This sprue contains fuselage that will be part in the first type release - the late type Mk.IXc.

As you see on the pictures this kit is scheduled to release for April 2013, so there is not much time left.

One of the photos shows a lower engine cover that is appropriate for early type IX's with short carburettor intake. I hope it's a forebode of Eduard next boxing of Mk.IX.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

I have a few AM decal sheets waiting for a good Mk IX kit so fingers crossed that Eduard crack it with this tooling. Looks good so far. Thanks for the update Michal. Simon

thanks for nice big pic Michal..the others are rather small though. Lots of rivets there - lets hope 2013 is going to be a good year for Spitfires..having acquired the two Polish Wings Spitfire IX books recently (highly recommended !!) I plan on building a few..
