Vector has prepared a resin improvement set dedicated to recently released Zvezda's Messerchmitt Bf 109F-4 in 1:48 scale.
The set catalogue number is VDS48-061.

On the NeOmega Resin website, a UK dealer of Vector products, it is entitled as “Bf 109F-4 correction set” however on the Ultracast website we can find it as a “Bf 109G-2 Conversion Set“. For this moment this is a bit of mystery for me.

Anyway on the resin parts seen on the published photo we can notice some features typical for Gustavs like small vents for the engine cover and oil cooler, wings reinforcement seen in the wheel wells or a G-style windshield and canopy cover.

We'll see what future brings. If you see something else than I already mentioned please don't hesitate to share your opinion and observations with us.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

First of all Vector has no website, if you mean this: http://www.neomega-resin.com/vector/home.htm then this is "NeOmega resin" my dealer in UK. As tj the new set for 109F-4, it's conversion F-4 into G-2, I have know idea why it called "correction for F-4", BTW Sprue Brothers mislabeled this set as well. Vector also released control surfaces for A-20 and Tu-2 in 48-th: Sergey.

Hello Sergei, I bought the A-20 and Tu-2 surfaces a few days ago from Ultracast. Are you planning to do some more stuff for the kits (A-20 nose wheelbay/ u/c correction, and maybe cockpit, Tu-2 nose correction, cockpit ...) all the best Steffen

Many thanks, correction already done.

Hi Steffen, I'm not planning anything for Tu-2 (at least in the nearest future). NorthStar made new wheels for it, and, as far as I know will make interior set(s). I see no sense in nose correction set, as it easily can be fixed by modelers. For A-20 I'm planning cockpits (for both B/C and G) and maybe bombbay and corrected cowls. Sergey.

Many thanks Sergey! Looking forward to the A-20 Stuff cheers Steffen
