Academy official website brings us three interesting scale model kit. Company has scheduled release of these kits for the first quarter of 2013.
I think the first one which we can expect on the market is the 1:72 scale F-14A „VF-1 Wolfpack. Its catalogue number is 12504. It will feature, accoring to Academy, highly detailed cockpit and landing gear compartment, various weaponry, adjustable wings and special decals option for VF-1 machine.

Another 1:72 scale bird will be SR-71 „Special marking”, catalogue number 13277.

Quarterscalers can expect a reboxed Accurate Miniature kit of the B-25G „Cannon nose”, catalogue number 12590.

All kits mentioned above will have decals produced by Italian company - Cartograf.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

The B-25 looks interesting. Any idea on the quality of the kit?

Notice the little logo on the upper right corner of the box? It's the Accurate Miniatures plastic

Ok, sorry but I am going to play dumb here. How was the Accurate Miniature kit? I am not familiar with that kit. Sorry, and thanks. Kevin

Accurate Miniatures was a description as well as a brand name. They were very good state-of-the-art kits when they were first issued. Here's a look inside the box. Here's one built up. Some people complained that the cowling openings were a bit too small, but a little sandpaper rolled up into a tube soon solved that little problem. Here's a build article showing how easy the fix is.

Jessie Thanks for the info. It is one of my favorite medium bombers, and looks like something I will have to get. Kevin
