Italian producer have just published few details and photographs of recent release of 1:48 scale Sea Hurricane.
Item No.: 2713
Scale: 1/48
Box dimmensions.: 345 x 242 x 48 mm

The kit is supplied with six painting options of Royal Navy machines from 1942 and 1943.

Inscriptions on the box says there will be also a photo-etched fret but Italeri did not published its photo. Company also declares that this kit is produced from upgraded moulds but we don't know yet what this may mean. Let's hope that not just that the box contains parts proper for the “Sea” version.

Impressive box cover! How good was the previous Italeri land version? Gaston

Hi Gaston You can read our reviews: https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/review/6966 https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/review/6966 I have to admit, I wasn't tempted to buy one, and Steffen's double-build only confirmed my doubts when it highlighted the odd shape of the fin: https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/forums/186073&page=1 All the best Rowan

Thanks Rowan! One thing that jumped out at me in the Steffen Arnt comparison is the more forward position of the Italeri's wheel wells: The Hasegawa is much different and correct: The rearmost part of the wheel wells is about mid-way between the flaps hinge and the leading edge of the wing: The Italeri has this far, far too much forward, and the front of the wells is way too close to the leading edge as a result... The Hasegawa kit is clearly the more serious kit of the two. Thanks for the links! Gaston
