In all honesty THIS has been the one and only release this year I've been planning on getting. Now if Italeri could see their way to doing a nice new Stirling next year they would make me a very happy man!

Oh happy childhood memories of the Airfix offering flood back... tainted with the recurring breaking fuselage seam when you whooshed it around (as a kid) and floated it in the bath. This looks at fisrt glance a nicely rendered offering nostalgia alone might make me buy. (A trip to Hendon may well be in order now.)

I do have a soft spot for flying boats – and like Keith I remember the old Airfix kit, with the very very cool box-art... If I was to build something outside of WWI, this might be it. Mikael

Sure one of the very few 1/72 kits I will buy, as I have already Revell's BV 222 in my stash. Imagine both Flying Boats in "my" 1/48 scale ..... They would be huuuuge! But why is there no Coastal Command version or something from the CBI? All versions here look more or less similar .... Torsten
