Hasegawa have announced on their website a striking release of Strike Eagle in 1:72 scale. The kit is not all-new but although based on already known sets still comes with new parts and details.
F-15E Strike Eagle
Catalogue number: E39
Scale: 1/72
Relese date: around 8 September 2012 (shipped 8/6)

The kit developed a large number of new plastic parts. Precisely reproduced, such as long-type pylons. Also comes with navigation pod-bomb targets. In addition Hasegawa have included a general-purpose exhibition stand, for minutes only as a benefit of first production. The kit will be a combination of previous releses of "X72-9, 11,12" and sold separately.

Decals and painting options:
  • "MO207" machine belongs 366th Squadron 391 Combat Air Wing (2001) (?? - editor note: I don't understand what does it mean, maybe this should be 366th Wing or 391th Squadron?)
  • "SJ336FS" machine belongs "Rocketeers" 336th Fighter Squadron, 4th Operations Group

New plastic parts: conformal tank, antenna, parts of pylon.

Editor note: this information was published in Japanese on Hasegawa website and more-less translated using on-line translator so please forgive me any inaccurances in names or descriptions – I simply found it sometimes difficult to understand myself what the “translated” sentence meant.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
