After almost vanishing into obscurity, Hobbycraft Canada is making a return, starting with a Canadian icon: the Avro Arrow.
Hobbycraft's return is being led by a completely retooled issue of the Avro Arrow in 1/72. Those modellers who did the retolled 1/48 kit will find this one very familiar; it's that kit shrunk down to 1/72. This is far superior in shape and detail to either previous Hobbycraft Arrow.

At the moment, Hobbycraft's website is completely dedicated to the Arrow, although there is a listing of previously released kits on the site.

If only they would retool their Spitfire Mk XIV. DACO made a correction to the tail, then came Academy, and DACO made a new nose. Better if they had simply made a total retool of both sets. But Hobbycraft back may not be a bad idea. NPL

This is great news, I just might have to build one of these, or at least add it to the growing build queue(otherwise known as my stash).

There's a thread on the ARC discussion forum where an Arrow expert shares his opinions of this kit. He discusses where Hobbycraft finally got it right, and where there are still some warts showing.
