Ad Hoc Publishing next release will look at the Fairey Barracuda the first indigenous all metal aircraft to serve with the Fleet Air Arm.
The Fairey Barracuda the British carrier borne torpedo and dive bomber from WWII was instrumental in holding up the Tirpitz for two months before being destroyed by RAF Lancasters. It might have looked as if it had hit every branch of the ugly tree when it fell out out, but the high lift devices were certainly appreciated by pilots when landing on carriers.

The book is listed as “in the circuit” and there are no further details just yet.
