Alley Cat have announced they will be releasing three more Vampire 1/48 resin kits, after the success of the earlier release of the Vampire Mk 5. There will be one boxing of the F Mk. 3 and two boxing's of the FB Mk. 9 Alistair from Alley Cat discusses the forthcoming releases.
“These kits are almost identical to the previous Mk. 5 releases but they have obviously had the modifictions made to make the new specific versions. Once again with the help of Tony O'Toole I have tried to select some varied and different schemes.
As in my last news the Mk 1 and the T.11 versions will follow in 2012, as will other box options for the versions that have already been released.
Future box options will be done for other air forces that flew Vampires. Mainly through contacts made at Scale Model World in November I am pleased to say that three very generous offers have come forward from three great guys to produce accurate markings for Vampires from Switzerland, Sweden and Norway. All three countries will have various versions covered and each country and version will have individual boxings. These will then allow accurate Vampires to built for each country, each with their own specific stencil and marking data included.

The three helpful guys are as follows,
Switzerland - Robert Schneider of Matterhorn Circle decals
Sweden - Jorgen Toll
Norway - Nils Mathisrud of Vingtor decals

Exact release dates are not definite as yet but I would hope and expect the first releases for these options to be February / March 2012.
Should any of you out there, have detailed information for Vampires flown by your country please do email me and we can see what can be done for a future box release”.
