James84, one of the Aeroscalers, brought to us an information about incoming release of the Eduard's Mig-21bis in 1:48 scale in the Profipack product line.
Cat. no. 8232.

Only the boxart is known yet so we can't say much more about the kit. On the boxart we can see the Finnish painting scheme. Rumors from the Polish modelers forum says there's going to be also a Polish painting scheme of "0880" plane, used in the Babie Doły airbase.

When we get more details abou this kit we will let you know in the next news reports.

Update 1: Giacomo have found the painting schemes which I attached to the report. The markings options provided in the set are: Bulgarian, Indian, Polish, Finnish, Hungarian and Croatian.
Update 2 I have added another picture - this time of the new J-sprue.
Update 3 The story have been updated with new, much more detailed, photographs of the new sprue, especially showing the Bis-type tail section and few smaller pieces.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

Having gotten the prior 2 kits in the line, I have no doubt that the BiS will be up to the usual Eduard quality. Heck the 2 pack 1/144 MFs that I just got are about the best 1/144 aircraft kits I have ever seen!
