Italeri website reveals a new scale plastic kit in the company offer: the G.222 "PANDA"/ C-27A "CHUCK" in 1:72 scale.

The kit seems to be another incarnation of the previous Italeri release of Alenia C-27J Spartan, catalogue number 1284. The general layout of the biggest parts (fuselage, wings, cockpit etc) is the same. The only, but significant, difference I have noticed about the sprues are completely new engines and three bladed propellers. There are also new painting options and decals sheet of course. In the current release these are two American (all grey) and one Italian (in the grey-green camouflage) version of the markings.
