Operational Overview Some of World War Two's bloodiest battles were fought in the far east. Men and women from many nations shed blood to create and preserve empires new and old. The Japanese invasion of Manchuria and the war that followed ten years later cost the world dearly and was the catalyst of many modern conflicts. The operation will allow builders to research and build on a subject seen very little in AFV modelling. It will also give builders the chance to pay tribute to the men who fought on all sides. The Rules and Regs The build will include any vehicles and/or infantry who saw action from September 19, 1931 (the Japanese invasion of Manchuria) to September 2, 1945 (official Japanese surrender). Builders may choose to build armor from any countries involved in the conflict. Dioramas are very welcome! Contest Element Upon completion all who submit a build will receive a Pacific Service Ribbon. |
